This aerial shot was taken in December of 2008. You can see just about all of Hollywood Studios in this photo. Notice the size of the Rock n' Roller Coaster building on the far left edge of the shot. It is also interesting to see that the parking lot is almost as big as the park itself. We were flying at about 3,000 feet when I snapped this one. The post 9/11 flight rules don't let planes get much closer than this. However, it was still amazing to see Walt Disney World from this vantage point. Since I was a young boy, I wanted to be a pilot, was a huge fan of Disney World, and loved baseball. This 2008 flight was sort of a dream come true for me. The fact that I was also instructing a former MLB All-Star at the same time was icing on the cake!
