We took our seven year old son to Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room yesterday, for the first time since he was a baby. From a nostalgic standpoint, this often overlooked attraction is really a classic. The Disneyland version was the very first attraction to feature "audio animatronics." Also, several of the birds' voices can be heard in other Disney attractions. Finally, the famous Sherman Brothers composed the theme song for the Tiki Room. They are best known for the music from Mary Poppins, as well as "it's a small world." This shot of a Tiki god coming to life is from my favorite part of the show.
